A large furnished double room is becoming available in my flat in central Brixton.

Room is ready to move in from 1st August, minimum stay of 6 months. No couples or pets I'm afraid.

The room is facing a backyard and quiet for the heart of Brixton.
It has high ceilings and stripped wooden floorboards, comes furnished with a bed, dresser, large midcentury sideboard and wardrobe - the wardrobe and dresser could be removed if you want.

The room is larger than it looks in the pictures, somehow difficult to photograph.

Rent is £700 plus ca £100 bills, depending on season, incl council tax and broadband.

There is one other permanent flatmate, a lovely gay man working in a London office.

The third room is being rented out on Airbnb to partially cover the extortionate rent, keep rent cheaper for the rest of the house, and pay off renovations of kitchen and bathroom we undertook a while ago.
Airbnb guests are solo travellers or couples who are in town for business or pleasure and tend to be out virtually all day. Guests have no access to the kitchen.
I used to live in the flat for years, deal with Airbnb guests myself and have a decent enough relationship with the landlord.

The kitchen has a dining table, is fully equipped and functions as the flat’s communal area/living room.

Brixton village with its myriad restaurants and bars, Brixton high street, all big supermarkets and the tube are 1 minute away.
