We have a cosy double room up for grabs in this amazing Brixton house. The room is bright and warm, and gets glorious afternoon sun. It comes with a wardrobe, with the option to purchase the chest of drawers and desk from the current housemate.
The house itself is very spacious and has a large kitchen, a homely living room and a slightly overgrown but very peaceful garden.
It’s an amazing location; about a 5 minute walk to Brixton station (Victoria line) and 10-15 minute walk to Clapham North (Northern line). The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and is just a few minutes’ walk from Brixton Market, Clapham Common and Brockwell Park.
You’ll be moving in with three lovely women – one psychologist, one teacher and one PhD student – all in their mid twenties to early thirties. Our house is very much a home - we get on really well and love getting together for wine and chats. We are looking to find a friendly, clean, easygoing housemate.
The rent is £648 pcm, which includes council tax and water bills. Internet is £15 a month each. Gas and electricity is paid quarterly, and varies depending on time of year, but averages about £20ish a month.
Move-in date can be flexible between 15 and 22 November.
