THE ROOM -
The room is a double king sized bedroom with two massive bright windows furnished with a king sized bed (with a duvet and pillows if needed), a wardrobe, desk and chest of drawers. you are more than welcome to get rid of (or we can sell them and return the money to our old flatmate) the desk and chest of drawers but, the bed and wardrobe are owned by the landlords. When moving in we will need a proof of ID and proof of Address. This is due to Foxtons needing it for their database.
TRANSPORT -
The flat itself is located on Brixton Hill, with a 6 minute walk to Brixton underground station, 15 minute walk to Clapham Common underground station, less than 15 minutes to Brockwell Park/ Herne Hill train station. There is a bus stop right outside the flat with buses that go to Liverpool street station, Waterloo, Vauxhall, Elephant & Castle, Oxford street ETC. Me and Oliver (Flatmate) cycle most places and from experience takes us 40 minutes to cycle to hackney, 20/30 mins into central, 15/20 mins to London bridge
CLOSE FACILITIES-
Sainsbury´s local and Tesco Express are both less than a 2 minute walk (we also live above a corner shop). There is a big Sainsbury´s, a big Tesco and a Lidl less than a 15 minute walk. We also live above three coffee shops that all do good coffee and there’s a nice coffee shop in Brixton village (we go there the most) if you like strong coffee. Stockwell has 24/7 gym for £37 a month (the one I use).
COMMUNAL SPACES -
Communal spaces consist of a cosy and warm living room (fully furnished), a kitchen (fully furnished), a shower room, a toilet and a large rooftop terrace were you can see from Canary Wharf to Battersea (perfect for summer).
ABOUT US -
A little bit about us! We are two creative gay males (not a couple). One works as an English bartender/ model (OLIVER) and the other is a Spanish photographer (who can speak English) (ARITZ). We support each other and try to keep a positive energy in the flat by joking about the silliness of life, watching films together and even waking up in wigs. We’re thinking about rearranging some of the furniture and as we want it to be your home as much as ours, we would love your input! We usually do handmade sushi and cocktail night once a week (or if we’re lazy, we do hot pod). We are looking to share with someone (no couples please) who is friendly, considerate, and responsible but also is down for cooking meals together and maybe a couple drinks of the roof terrace. Me and Oliver usually involve each other in our plans as we’re close friends but, we also respect each others space.
