Garden facing double room with wooden floorboards available in HOUSE with separate kitchen, lounge, and dining room leading into small garden. It's a 5 minute walk to our beloved Brockwell Park and a 5 minute ride to the tube.

You would be sharing with myself - I work in education and am focussing on research. I mainly socialise and meet friends outside, keeping the house as more of a retreat from the bustle of London. There is room outside for bikes.

It would suit a considerate full time professional - someone who travels light or can put things in storage as the kitchen is already fully equipped with most things you might need. 
The room is a small double but nicely proportioned with wooden floorboards - a double bed with 4 large under bed storage drawers, a chest of drawers and a clothes rail. Another room will be available from March 1.

Finances: Fixed bills of around £75 per month plus quarterly gas and electricity.

You will need to provide an employer's reference confirming you are on a permanent/fixed term contract. We are sorry we cannot let to freelancers, students

Because of its size, 
the house is more suited to accommodating occasional good friends and family guests - as housemates we have always had an agreement not to have partners/dates sleeping over which will not suit everyone.
