Large room, house and garden in family cul-de-sac

I'm leaving this lovely house and street after 8.5 years to move in with my girlfriend.

I'm leaving behind my 2 housemates, Kathy, a former barmaid who sings in the shower, and new housemate Dan who plays guitar. Both are friendly, relaxed, easy-going and sociable (and looking for someone similar).

The house is a lovely, large, semi-detached Victorian house with front and back gardens (and a pond with a frog!) and is set near the end of a family-orientated cul-de-sac (so no through-traffic) that is patrolled by a variety of friendly cats. There is a real community spirit which includes a gmail group where household items and services are swapped free of charge, plus the neighbours organise regular street parties and other get-togethers.

The house has a lounge with 3 sofas (one each!), a nice kitchen with everything you need and a good-sized bathroom including bath and shower.

The landlord's also great and gets things done if we ask (i. e. bought me a brand new hedge strimmer and lawnmower so I could do the garden).

The room you’ll be renting is huge (was originally the front room) with a double bed and loads of storage space, with a large window that opens onto the lush front garden.

We’re situated a 15 minute walk or 8 minute bus ride from the centre of Brixton, 5 mins from a Tesco and a bus stop, 3 mins from a lovely cafe plus 6 mins from the local pub.. We're also just 13 mins walk from Brockwell Park.
