I have available to rent my modern double room in a very safe, newish apartment block, just off Broadway Market (5th floor with 2 x elevators).
The room is currenlty unfurnished as the current tenant had their own things but im happy to put in a bed and wardrobe if thos os wamted. The room has it's own modern bathroom (though not en-suite, but opposite the room).
There are amazing views towards the Shard and Gherkin, as well as good storage and good quality wood/laminate flooring throughout.
There is a lovely spacious living room with large TV and sofa bed if you have friends that visit and want to stay. From the living room you can look towards Canary Wharf, the views are amazing during bonfires night and new year.
The Gas bill and Thames Water bill are included so the only bills left to pay are council tax, electricity, TV and broadband. These come to a total of around £100 per month i think but can be confirmed with the current tenant.
The apartment has excellent transport links being an 8 minute walk to Bethnal Green (Central Line), 3 minute walk to Cambridge Heath station, 13 minute walk to Hackney Central Overground as well as the numerous buses that Mare Street has to offer. If you are interested in cycling to work, there is a Barclays bike station just around the corner, but we also have a secure lock-up, bike storage in the building.
You will be sharing with Jonnie - friendly, professional (not wfh) who loves music, travel, food and drink a nice glass of Malbec :) Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have and obviously feel free to come around and view the room.
