A Peaceful Place in SE4

We've got a single room here in a quiet part of Brockley SE4 (our road has zero through traffic). Big living room, garden, 5mins to Brockley (zone 2) or Crofton Park stations, 2mins to shops/cafes/buses, Hilly Fields park is also nearby. We have double glazing for the winter, no agency or fees and a friendly landlord.

You'd be sharing with me and my friend Tom. We're mid to late 30s and have lived here for over 2 years making it a relaxed, stress-free home. We're a mix of silliness, cynicism, technology, quiet conversation, time alone; I'm vegetarian but have no problem with Tom's non-veggie cooking.

We'd like to find someone fairly quiet and chilled out to share with. We don't have a cat but occasionally get visited by the friendly one next door (you may spot him in the photos). If you have an outdoor-compatible cat we'll buy you both treats! The house wouldn't suit a dog or an indoors only cat I'm afraid.

Rent is £450 + bills (currently about £80 - finding cheaper utility deals is on the todo list). The room has had a fresh coat of paint and there's a brand new bed+mattress for you. No wardrobe currently but our landlord will get one if you need. We also have a spare desk + the local area is great for people giving away furniture etc. Internet here is 50Mbps+ and has no download limits.

Coronavirus status: the room's been unoccupied since a month before lockdown began, we're both doing work from home and are staying safe.
