I'm moving in with my gf and my spacious room in Brockley is becoming available. The flatmates are nice, the area is well-connected, and I think you'll like it.

Rent is £466pm, and deposit is £400. No bills included, but most are paid quarterly and it works out at around £120 per quarter (or £40 per month). Lease can be 6-12 months, though landlord is quite chilled and flexible.

Features:
* Fully furnished with bed, desk, table, closet, end table, clothes rail, electric heater, and dresser.
* Private landlord - NO FEES.
* Well-connected. Five minutes walk to Brockley Overground, ten minutes walk to Nunhead railway station, fifteen minutes walk to New Cross Gate.
* Near a Spar, a Sainsbury's Local, a Costcutter, and a Quick Stop.
* Six very friendly flatmates who work in journalism, catering, and other professions
* ...but two showers, two toilets, and two kitchens, so congestion is v. rare! Flatmates also work in shifts.
* Living room attached to upstairs kitchen.
* Large garden (accessible through another flatmate's room).
* There's a cat! He's ginger and very nice.

Some less good things about the room/house:
* No central heating in the room right now - will be fixed, but for now, I'm leaving my (very effective) electric heater behind, so you won't get cold!
