Bright double room with bathroom in E3

Bright, airy double room with your own bathroom available. The flat is a new build split over two floors and there’s a big living/dining/space and kitchen downstairs, along with a downstairs toilet and an outdoor patio area. The flat looks over the river and is a very peaceful spot. We have a washer/dryer and a dishwasher in the flat. The space has floor to ceiling windows so it’s super bright and a really lovely place to hang out in.

Bromley by Bow station is about a five minute walk and Devon’s Road and Bow Road DLR are about ten minutes away. A five minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to a bus stop where you can catch several buses that go into central london and to Hackney. We’re about fifteen minutes walk to Hackney Wick along the canal and the same length to Victoria Park. The flat is walking distance to Westfield and benefits from having a huge Tesco practically next door. There’s also a McDonald’s close by if that’s your thing.

In terms of flatmate, I’m in my thirties and I work as a secondary school teacher. I am pretty busy during the week so the place is very much a calm home and kept clean and tidy. It would be great to live with someone who wants to share a home like that too.

I love a good chat and a Netflix binge like everybody else. Ideally would like to live with someone who wants to socialise sometimes but have their own space on occasion too. I make a mean cup of tea and always happy/interested to hear how your day has been. Also more than happy to go to the pub, make dinner/order food together and watch a film. I would like to live with someone who is keen to be communicative and hang out sometimes.

In my spare time, I’m a big fan of reading (we have a lot of books!), live music, and art (Tate +1 if you ever fancy it).

The room comes with a double bed and a wardrobe and there can be some flexibility on move in dates.
