Spacious Double Room in Burgess Park, Camberwell

We have a spacious, part-furnished double room in Burgess Park, Camberwell, available from the end of July.

You’ll be living with three housemates, one lass and two guys. All of us work in professional / creative industries. Rose works for a charity, while Percy and Kieron are writers / copywriters.

We’re a sociable, chilled out house, and we often eat and have a few drinks together, but equally everyone is afforded their own space and we all lead independent lives.

The house is on a small terraced row in Burgess Park, so you have the park quite literally on your doorstep. The park itself has a football pitch, tennis courts and there’s even a fishing lake, though we’re yet to take advantage of this.

The house: two bathrooms, a little living room upstairs and a large kitchen.

The house is just under a 30-minute walk to Elephant and Castle and Bermondsey tube stations and about 15 minutes to the centres of Camberwell and Peckham. There are buses to all parts of London from the Old Kent Road, which is about 50 metres away.

The room is available from July 27th. The room contains a bed and a wardrobe, but you’ll need to furnish the rest yourself.

Rent is £575 per month and bills come to just under £75. Deposit is £796.

The tenancy is for 12 months, with a break clause after 6 months.

Unfortunately the landlord doesn’t accept students.
