Lovely, quiet characterful room in ground floor Edwardian terraced flat between Camberwell & Brixton, with a window overlooking the back garden. Would suit anyone needing to be close to Kings College Hospital or central London/the City (short train ride) for end of August/September only. My boyfriend is moving in after this, hence the timeframe!

Comes with a double bed (with space for under-bed storage), a desk if you'd want it to work at (not in current pic...), hanging rail with shoe shelf, a big chest of drawers, a huge cupboard for suitcases etc.. Bills include WiFi, TV, gas/elec, contents insurance & council tax. You’ll be sharing with me - I’m in my mid 30s, I work from home. I’m sociable and out a fair bit but also enjoy chilling in the flat.

The flat is on a peaceful street off Coldharbour Lane, SE5, and 5 mins from both Ruskin Park, Loughborough Junction train station, and a grocer’s, pharmacy, newsagent, and mini Co-Op. More shops can be found a 15-minute walk away in either direction to Brixton or Camberwell.

An ideal flatmate for me would be someone friendly and reliable between between 25-45yo, who is respectful and tidy, possibly works from home but not full time, and likes to be out and about as well as here.

THE FLAT:

I own and live in the flat so I ask that you treat it and clean your space as well as if it were your own (previous tenants became friends!), taking care of belongings and furniture. There’s one shared bathroom with a shower and a mini bath, a spacious sitting room to relax in, with a TV and dining table, and a kitchen leading to the garden.

I know my neighbours - we’re all respectful of one another and can say hi in case of any emergencies. .

TRANSPORT & AREA:
Area: 5 min walk from lovely Ruskin Park, 15-minute walk from Myatt’s Fields, 25 from amazing Brockwell and Burgess Parks. Lots of shops, a market, gyms, Kings College Hospital, restaurants, takeaways, and a cinema.

Transport: Buses on Coldharbour Lane to Brixton, Clapham, London Bridge, The City; 5-min walk from Loughborough Junction Thameslink train station which services Elephant & Castle, Farringdon, Kings Cross; 15-min walk from Denmark Hill overground which services Clapham & Shoreditch; 20-min walk from Brixton tube / the Victoria line.
