We've got a double room for 1 - you’d be sharing with 5 others and 1 sweet/shy dog.

YOUR ROOM:

It’s a roof room so is right next to the roof garden 🪴 and it’s got great natural light with 3 windows and a great view of the back garden 🪴 too.
OUR HOME:
- cleaned every week by a cleaner
- warm in the winter
- with great central heating,
- with a bright and airy feel
- It is Georgian with generous dimensions
loads of natural light and lots of windows and space.
Dining/ lounge:
Large dining table in the high-ceiling dining/living room with a great bay window overlooking the back garden and a couple of generous sofas to chill in and chat, or just chill.

Kitchen:
Big with lots of space to prepare your meals, there's an AGA cooker, 2 fridge/freezers, dishwasher, washing machine and the kitchen overlooks the back garden.

Bathroom:
The bathroom is large with a bath/shower, (there are two and a half bathrooms) it’s got also a basin and WC as well as underfloor heating, generous storage space and towel heater. There's a WC on the ground floor, too.

Garden:
We have a great back garden with table and chairs, BBQ & a front garden with storage space for 2 bikes and great front stoop steps for sitting out on a sunny day watching the world go by with a hot cup of coffee in your hands!

Roof garden:
we also have a roof garden, great for the summer. So it never feels like a very full house as there’s so much space for everyone!

A fabulous cleaner comes once a week for several hours and cleans ALL the rooms and shared spaces, so there are no cleaning rotas to deal with. It's really well-looked after home.

US:
We're friendly, outgoing and chilled out people working in digital, comms, human rights, sport science and a manager of a community cafe.

Passions include travelling, cycling, Pilates, yoga, music (all sorts) films, art, meditation, sports, world affairs, architecture, comedy, books, languages, graphic design and culture and current affairs. Our backgrounds include 🇨🇴, 🇩🇪, 🇬🇧 & 🇿🇼

We are independent, and we all like sharing this beautiful space, we do share occasional dinners or brunches together , not really a party house as we are all keen to chill out after work, sometimes coming together over dinner or on the sofas, as well as enjoying our own time and the only drama we like is a really good Scandinavian crime series! BLM , LGBT+, neuro-diversity allies.

2 of us have a studio we work in lots so we are often in there, the dog is always with us too so there’s no expectation on you to look after her.

Happy to be sociable when you’re up for sharing the odd meal, or cuppa or movie night as well as respecting the fact that everyone needs their own space at times.


About our dog:
She's a shy, 3-year old lurcher - sweet and fully house trained, not yappy, doesn't go into other people's rooms or the bathroom. She is washed regularly and so the only evidence of a dog is her food bowl!

Camberwell Grove is a beautiful road with huge old trees and it’s a really friendly creative neighbourhood. We know all of our neighbours and love the friendly vibe and good energy. It’s close to Peckham, East Dulwich and Brixton and loads of parks.

Transport links are:
Denmark Hill (4 mins) to Farringdon, Victoria and East London etc. and East Dulwich station (7 mins) has trains to London Bridge. Buses are the 40, 185 and 176 right to the end of our road and it's a well-serviced area in terms of shops (Sainsburys/ Co-op/ Morrisons/ M&S) and quick trips to Brixton, Peckham and Elephant and Castle.

Regarding COVID19: We are all fully vaccinated, and all respectful of the guidelines and about the safety of all those in the house. We would expect the same of those looking to move in.
