Single or Double Bedroom in Riverside Flat

Single or Double furnished room with lots of storage in a two bedroom riverside flat. The total rent of the flat is £1,550 and as the double is larger, the rent split would be £700 for the single and £850 for the double (or £950 for a couple). Two bathrooms, a balcony, and a nicely furnished living room with a river view. Apartment comes with a designated underground parking spot I currently don’t use, secure bike storage, and a communal tennis court.

The flat is located in a lovely area of Rotherhithe / Canada Water with lots of green space nearby. 15-20 walk from Rotherhithe (Overground) and Canada Water (Overground / Jubilee) and even faster on the bus. Right next to the ferry stop, so 5 mins to Canary Wharf.

No bills included, but I’m happy to cover TV license. Water is paid quarterly at around £50.
Gas/Electric is around £50 per month.
WiFi is £38 pcm but is superfast (currently running at 65mbps).
Council Tax is £145pcm.
All in, total bills split between two is approximately £125 a month. Split between three and accounting for slight increase in use, approximately £85 each.

I’m a Civil Servant who works in Westminster. I enjoy climbing, gaming, exploring London, meeting new people, and going for drinks and food. I’m currently mooching off my boyfriends Netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions which you too can benefit from. I couldn’t live in a flat with a frosty vibe with someone I barely talk to, so I’m ultimately just looking for a roommate I get on with and someone who can have a laugh.

The room is available immediately but I’m flexible on when you move in. I’d rather take a bit of time finding the right person than rushing into it. The current contract runs until December 31st 2020 and I’m looking for someone for the rest of the tenancy. If we get on there’s always the option to extend. I’ve got a great relationship with the Landlord who lives in Switzerland and is very reasonable.

My boyfriend is moving out early next year, but I love the flat so much so I’m staying. I’m not fussed about which room I live in, so I’m also advertising for the large double room on here as well (£850 pcm, £950 for a couple) but obviously only looking to fill one of the two. Since the single room is vacant you could move in as soon as you wanted, although my boyfriend is happy to move out whenever suits if you wanted the double.
