Hey everyone. Very keen to get a good fit, so if you're interested, please message telling us:
- a bit about you, age, job etc
- what are you looking for from a house share?
- what do you enjoy doing with your spare time / weekends?
Please make sure you include these things in your message, otherwise you won't get a reply.
--------
I'm Lewis, a 28 year old professional in the civil service. I work fairly standard hours Monday-Friday. Outside of work, I really enjoy music and going to gigs (think Fred Again, Bicep etc), gaming, travel, good food, and attempting to stay fit.
I've become great pals with previous flatmates, and would regularly go for drinks and make the most of being in London, or just hanging out in the house. We've got on really well with the landlord and neighbours and would be keen for new housemates to do the same. We've kept the house tidy and had a really homely feel in the place.
The two rooms are large, bright doubles on the second floor of the house, with large windows that get plenty of light. It comes furnished with a double bed, side unit, book shelves and a large built in wardrobe/storage.
Downstairs, there is a good sized kitchen, a huge living / dining room, conservatory and lovely rear garden which is great to have, particularly during lockdown.
The kitchen includes gas appliances, a big fridge freezer and more cupboards than we know what to do with. We have a washing machine within the house. There is also a separate downstairs toilet.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms and the bathroom, which contains all the essentials and a shower with good pressure and supply of hot water.
The house is located just 5 minutes walk from Canada Water station which is on the Jubilee Line and Overground, as well as benefitting from the Night Tube on weekends.. We're a 5 minute tube ride away from London Bridge with all it has to offer, and 25 minutes away from Clapham on the Overground. The house backs onto Southwark Park, and the park itself is a 5 minute walk away, and is a really nice spot for running, or just chilling out in the summer and making the most of the sun.
We pay around £155 a month each for tv licence, water, council tax, gas, electric and Community Fibre broadband. The internet is very reliable and fast, which is perfect when working from home.
