The room is in a huge flat just off Upper St, two minutes away from Highbury and Islington station and many great restaurants on Upper St (once they eventually reopen again). It takes less than 15 min to get to Ox Circus/20 min to the City etc, Kings Cross is one tube stop or 20 min walk away etc.

The flat is set back from the street so it’s very quiet. There are shops below, nothing above and a great roof terrace.

The flat has a large, brand-new kitchen, which leads to an even larger living-room, then yet another room which is used as a study and dressing room - perfect for extra clothes storage. There’s plenty of areas to retire to in private/lots of room to WFH.

Your bedroom is well-sized (the video makes it look smaller than it is), with a very unique niche which can be used as a study or dressing area etc. As legacy furniture there's a chest of drawers, the landlord is happy to remove it should you want to bring your own furniture. The current occupier bought the wardrobe and shelves to the room, which she is very happy to sell on for a modest sum.

There's one bathroom, also brand-new, which has a rain-shower. There is no bath, but plenty of hidden storage.

Bills are between £100-150 per month and there’s also a one-off non-refundable £200 fee for joining the zero deposit scheme.

I work in financial communications in the City (when offices are open) and theoretically my boyfriend lives in the flat as well, although last year he spent over 90% away in the countryside of working abroad.

It'd be good if you're laid back with a sprinkle of sense of humor, fairly tidy and moderately self-aware. Very happy to polish off a few glasses of wine, but good at getting up and getting on in the morning.
