Lovely Large Double Room

Our flatmate is leaving to move in with her boyfriend, so we are looking for someone to fill her room in June.

The room is a large double with built-in wardrobe and storage shelves which comes furnished.

The new flatmate would share a bathroom and toilet (they’re in separate rooms to make sharing easier) with only one other person.

On the top floor there is our storage/ washing hanging room. On the main floor is the kitchen which has all the normal appliances, the cooker and washing machine are new in the last year. Big living room with sofas, tv and dining table. The Landlord is great, and does all the necessary repairs etc as needed.

About us: We’re Kate (British) and Susan (Irish) We’d like to share with someone who wants a home not just somewhere to crash, who is tidy and up for a glass of wine and watching tv together sometimes. We’re friendly and tidy but we aren’t party people and do respect each other’s separate lives.

No students, couples, DDS or pets (sorry)

About the area: leafy and quiet, but with great transport links:
5 minutes walk to buses for Hammersmith, Shepherds Bush, Richmond and Ealing.
7 minute walk to Kew Bridge Station (30 minutes to Waterloo)
10-minute walk to Gunnersbury (District and Overground lines)

We are 5 walk minutes from the river. Kew Gardens about 15 minutes walk away, as is Chiswick High Road shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants (nearest gym/ swimming pool is 5 minutes walk).

The room is free from the 10th, but subject to referencing and signing the contracts first.

Rent is £610 per month plus bills which are normally about £115 per person per month, including fibre optic broadband.

All rent and bills are due to lead housemate (me) who sorts them but every bill comes to the joint house email address for total clarity.
