Quiet room in a friendly house in Chiswick.

Large double room available in a house share in the heart of Chiswick and in an excellent location. The house is steps away from Sainsburys and Chiswick High Road. There is also a little market square which sells fresh fruit and veg which is just around the corner.

The room is spacious and fully furnished with a double bed, double wardrobe, bed side table, desk, drawers and a large storage unit. The room is on the ground floor of the house.

Location
The house has excellent connections to public transport. Less than 5 minutes walk to Chiswick Park tube (0.1 mile away); 11 minutes walk to Turnham Green tube (0.6 miles away) and a 12 minute walk to Gunnersbury station (0.6 miles away). Chiswick Park tube and Gunnersbury station are in Zone 3 and Turnham Green is in Zone 2.

There are plenty of parks nearby including Chiswick House and Gardens and Kew Gardens. There is a big Sainsbury's right next door, a Tesco 5 minutes away and plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants on the high road.

The house
The house has four double bedrooms and there are two shared bathroom/shower rooms with toilets. This room shares a shower and toilet with one other person. There is a shared kitchen with a dining area. There is also a shared living room which has a TV. There are currently three housemates and we are looking to fill this room and one other room which is also now available in the house. Could suit two friends looking to move into their own separate rooms in the same house.

The house also has access to a shared driveway with a commercial property.

The house is very close to the high road but tucked away and quiet.

The property is a bit dated which is reflected in the rent and all housemates keep the place tidy and cosy.

The current housemates enjoy a balance between having their own space and spending time together socialising with a glass of wine and a movie. This is a relaxed house with respectful housemates.

The cost of rent and bills
The rent for the room is £540 per month plus bills.
The bills across the past few months have come to around £90 - £120 per month per tenant on top of the rent. So as an estimate the cost of the bills are £90 - £120 per month per tenant but this may vary.

The house is a joint tenancy and therefore the contract with the landlord is for the house as a whole. Tenants are jointly equally responsible for rental payments and bills. Outgoing tenants are required to find replacements for their own rooms when they decide to leave. Maximum approximate term 12-18 months.

The current housemate is planning to leave at the end of the July and so the room will be available from 1 August 2020 although there is some flexibility with dates.
