Sunny double room in big Chiswick house

We are in the top two floors of a big, old family house on the corner of two of the nicest roads in Chiswick.

The house has real character including period features and large windows so it is lovely and light. There is plenty of space for everyone.

Three of the bedrooms (including yours) are on the top floor, leading off from a sunny landing. Come downstairs to the first floor and there's a kitchen with large windows and a view of the garden below. (It's a bit '70s but everything works!). Across the landing there is a huge, bright sitting room - with a high ceiling, three large windows and a period fireplace - where we watch TV and eat dinner, and a fourth bedroom. Down a couple more stairs is a good-size bathroom (including bath/shower, sink and toilet) and a second toilet. Outside there is a little garden which needs a bit of TLC (we're working on it!)

We are three professionals who usually do our own thing and have our own friends. The house is very relaxed but we want it to be a comfortable place to come home to so we keep it clean and tidy. It's not a student place - so if you want a party house this isn't for you, sorry!

The location is brilliant - we are a two-minute walk from Chiswick High Road (the nice bit, near the Waitrose!) and a ten-minute walk from the River. We are also two minutes from Chiswick House which has lovely grounds if you're into running.

The transport links are also excellent - we are ten minutes from Turnham Green tube (on the border of Zone 2/3) and there are plenty of buses (including night buses) which stop at the end of our road. It is a very safe area.
