Large bedroom with ensuite, couples welcome!

We have a fantastic, large double room with an en-suite available in our modern 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom flat in between Clapham, Abbeville Village and Brixton. The room is great - it gets lovely afternoon sunshine, is on the quiet side of the house, and has two huge double wardrobes and room for a big desk.

Our current flat mate is great - from New Zealand, and both chill and social. She is a teacher, and in normal times enjoys sport, travelling, and heading to the pub. These days, there’s a lot of heading to the nearby parks and bike rides instead.

Clapham Common and Brockwell park are easy walking distances which is great for lockdown. There are great bus stops right outside the house with the 355, 137 and 417 all going past regularly, and walking distance to the Northern line at Clapham Common and Clapham North stations, the overground at Clapham High Street, the Victoria line at Brixton station.

The apartment has a big, sunny, open plan lounge, kitchen and dining space, and a separate laundry. There is also secure bike storage if you’ve taken up bike riding over lockdown which is a plus. There’s no garden, but the communal apartment spaces are quite nice, and we’ve taken down chairs to chill in the sun and have BBQs through lockdown which has been fab.

The room is around £1,200 per month for a couple and would be slightly less for an individual. The contract would be for a minimum of 6 months.

A move in date from mid July to early August would work best for us, but if your dates are a little earlier/later, let us know and we can see if we can make something work!
