Couple wanted for newly renovated house in Clapham

We have one ensuite room available in our modern house in Clapham South, available from 4th July.

The House:
We’re located off street in a gated development of 5 houses with a security gate and free parking in the courtyard. It’s close to all the local amenities (Abbeville Road, Clapham Common, bars/club), and about a 10-minute walk to Clapham South tube station. There’s also a bus stop opposite the house that serves Brixton / Clapham Common/Junction.

The house itself is big and welcoming, with a large open-plan kitchen/living room that leads out into the conservatory and to the patio garden. You’ll have your own bathroom and there’s another toilet on the ground floor so there's no fighting over the toilet :)

The awesome people you’ll be living with:
You’ll be living with 3 other people. There’s Anna, Jen and Dom. We’re all 26 and work regular hours so we all see each other in the evenings. Jen and Dom love running whilst Anna prefers playing sport. Most weekdays you’ll usually find us watching TV, cooking dinner together or chatting away in the kitchen. During lockdown we've all been working from home which has been fine as there's plenty of space. We’re a social house and when we could we loved going to the pub and going out for meals. RIP current social lives. We love to have drinks at our house as it's a perfect place to socialise.


We all came to the house as strangers, but we now get on so well and we’re looking for a couple who’s going to fit right in. The couple who are moving out will leave a huge hole... So if you’re looking for somewhere homely where there’s usually someone to hang out with, then you’re looking in the right place.

The Numbers:
Rent: £1110pcm
Bills: £85 pcm per person
Administration fee: £100

We have a cleaner who comes every two weeks which is £30 that we take in turns to pay.

We usually have a huge amount of interest in the house, so please only respond if you’re willing to tell us a bit about yourself. We often get a lot of responses from clean, sociable and tidy people, and whilst those are traits we definitely want in our house, your response will not stand out from the crowd. It’s really important for us to find someone who fits in with the house especially during the current situatuon so please tell us all about yourself.
