Double room in a beautiful house Clapham Common

We have a double room available in a beautiful 4 storey house on Clapham Common; 8 minutes walk away from Clapham South tube and 20 minutes from Clapham Junction.

We are 4 social girls who are often about for a chat or glass of wine in the evenings, but all equally respect each other's own space. We all work full time - so not a party house during the week. (Although we have been known to throw the odd house party on special occasions! Christmas jumper lovers very welcome!) We are looking for a lovely person who's up for a laugh and easy to get on with. We would be equally happy with a male or female housemate.

The house has five bedrooms and three bathrooms (plus downstairs toilet) with a large living room/dining room and kitchen. The living room has sofas, tv and high speed wi-fi. The kitchen is large and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. There is also a basement which is handy for storage.

There is a courtyard garden which is perfect for bbq's during the three-day summers we enjoy!

The bedroom is a double on the first floor. It has a lovely feature fireplace and a large window overlooking the garden. There are three built in shelves in one of the alcoves. There is potential for the room to be furnished or unfurnished. The bathroom (with bath and shower) is shared with one of the girls.

The rent is £856.56 a month and bills currently work out at about £92 a month. That includes a cleaner who comes in every 2 weeks.

We are looking at someone taking the contract over from 12th February (move in date from 9th) but this could be flexible for the right person!
