1 double bedroom in beautiful flat by River Lea

The Room

A bright double bedroom available in a very spacious flat in Clapton / Hackney. The place is located along River Lea, with the riches of Clapton just around the corner (not that it matter that much now that everything is closed). The place is ideal for someone where home is the place you relax, but still wants an quick and easy commute to central London.

You will share it with a young professional in his early 30s (it’s still young right?) that is overall a pretty decent citizen, and which is not always around since he is at his girlfriend's place.

The room
The room is facing east so you get a lot of natural daylight during the day, and you can wake up to the sunrise instead the alarm clock. It's furnished with a double bed with mattress and a wardrobe. A small desk is included but can also be removed if you wish to furnish it with your own desk. The room is not en-suite, but the apartment got two bathrooms so you will have your own dedicated space to keep your toothbrush in.

The flat
The flat has a very spacious living room with great natural light coming through 4 big windows that extends all the way up to the ceiling. I have been doing morning yoga here and it's amazing since you both got the morning sun and the river just beneath you!

The kitchen is open plan with the living room, and is fully equipped and includes a washing machine and a dishwasher.

The crown jewel of the place is however its large balcony that is overlooking river Lea and the Northfields park, making it an ideal summer hangout place.

A parking space is also available in the garage.

Location
The flat is well-located and connected: the nearest station is Clapton Overground and a lot of options considering buses also exist. It's surrounded by a lot of parks - the main ones being Hackney Marshes, Lea Valley and North Millfields Recreation Ground. River Lea is just meters away from the apartment and Co-op is another 3-4 min walk from the place where you can shop for groceries.

Rent conditions
The room is rented for three months, with one-month rent deposit and the rent includes all bills (electricity, water, council tax, internet etc.). The room is available from 4th of November, possibly slightly earlier depending on when the current flatmate will leave..

Who I am looking for and who I am!
I am pretty relaxed, easy-going and still mildly sane and so are you hopefully. I keep things tidy but do not obsess over details. I like to have the occasional banter but sometimes also just some privacy and time on my own. If you are male, female, a couple or whatever you would like to label yourself I don't really care. What is important is that we get along well and that we feel at ease being at home.

I work in Tech and travel both privately and professionally a few times each month (if there would be any flights, that is). In my spare time I love going to the theatre, exhibitions, vintage shopping, reading and creating something (coding and sewing being my main creative hobbies - the natural combo).
