Beautiful Clerkenwell Two-Bedroom Home

I am moving out of my beautiful home in Clerkenwell. It's a Georgian duplex above a (quiet) shop with the bedrooms upstairs and the living room, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs.

There are two bedrooms, a double and a king.

The double bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe, a floor-to-ceiling cupboard with shelves, and a bedside table. It's incredibly quiet for central London.

The king-size bedroom has a king size bed, two wardrobes, a chest of drawers, two bedside tables and lots of space. It does not have blinds but the lower half of the windows are frosted so it's very private.

Most of the flat was renovated by an interior designer a few years back and it's beautifully finished - a real home. All of the bedroom furniture is real wood and there is a minimalist feeling throughout the flat. There is a real wood floor and the building is Grade II listed.

The furniture in the living room is a little basic so if you wanted to bring your own I'd be open to that. I'll remove what's there.

As I intend to come back in a few years, I prefer to find people who want to keep the home a sanctuary from London's hectic pace, rather than a party home. I'd also prefer non-smokers.

In terms of bills, the gas and council tax will be covered. You’ll take on the gas and electricity and landline, Internet and TV. I have also had a cleaner who knows the flat well that you could take her on too.

I'm hosting viewings during the week of February 18th. Please get in touch to book a slot. Although I've listed the move-in date as March 14, there is some flex (sooner and later).

The flat is a three-minute walk from Angel tube station (Northern Line) and also a short walk from St Pancras and Kings Cross (10 minutes) as well as Euston (20 minutes). The area is amazingly well-served with buses that take you to Covent Garden, Piccadilly, Green Park, Victoria, Kings Cross, Euston, Paddington, Liverpool Street, as well as Old Street, Hackney and Dalston. There is a bicycle hire station right outside the house.

You probably know the area but there are a number of well-reputed restaurants close by. Five minutes walk to the south is Exmouth Market, in the heart of historic Clerkenwell, with its line of independent restaurants. Five minutes walk to the north is Upper Street, a haven of restaurants and bars through the heart of Islington.
