Looking for a clean, social & polite person to join us.

Most of the furnishings come with the room except the bedside cabinets, desk, dresser and bed. I have a 6 month old, newly bought base that I can gift to the person replacing me if they do not have a bed. Then you would simply need to get your own mattress. (137cm / 54 inches width & 190cm / 76 inches in length).

Bills cost roughly £45-55 a month (£7 broadband, £14.50 council tax, £20-30 power and gas)

No minimum or maximum let but ideally looking for someone whose looking to stay a while. Currently in a contract that ends March 2021 so the person taking the room would replace the current tenant leaving on contract and then the landlord would renew for another year in March with the usual replacement tenancy clause. This allows flexibility and means that you could also leave within the current contract (if needed) if you are able to find a suitable replacement.

Independent landlord, not via an agency and he is lovely. Only visits once a year to check for repairs and is very quick to respond to any issues or repairs required - has his own handyman that does all the work.

There are 3 bathrooms.
Main bathroom (has shower, toilet and bathtub) on 1st floor and 2nd bathroom downstairs (not in photos) are shared by 4 people including the person looking to take the room advertised. Other female currently residing on 2nd floor has their own en-suite shower, bath and toilet that they use.

Good area filled with beautiful parks and river-ways. Nice, quiet suburb street with barely any traffic day or night. Very large Sainsburys, small Sainsbury and co-op within 5 minutes walking distance and a large Aldi and shopping complex/mall within 5-10 minutes walking distance.

Current flat mates include 1 Kiwi male, 1 Lithuanian female, 1 English male from Milton Keyes and 1 English Female (with English partner who is often at the house). Please note that this is a 5 bedroom house with a 4 person tenancy agreement as we sublet out the 5th, smaller room.
All tenants have been living here between 1.5-4 years and treat this house as our home. Please note this is not a party house.

All very chill, working professionals and sociable. We like to have barbecues in the summer (have wood fire, barbecue, dart board, inflatable swimming pool and lots of chairs/dining space outside). Have a great set up for movie nights in the lounge and one of the couches pulls out into a sofa bed for guests to stay overnight if needed.
