The room is on the top floor of a split level spacious flat. The first floor flat consists of a generous sized living room, dining room and kitchen with steps leading down to a garden. The price is a bargain for all this plus an excellent landlord who is responsive and gets things fixed fast.
The flat is on a nice street close to the tube station. Colliers Wood has the benefit of being 10 minute max journey on the bus to Wimbledon town and 8 minute walk to Colliers Wood tube station on the Northern, one stop from Tooting Broadway with all it's pubs and restaurants and 3 stops from Balham with yet more great pubs, shops and restaurants. The flat is close to a big Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencers so you can get all your shopping easily on the way home. Merton Abbey National Trust are lovely grounds for a stroll in nature and are a 10 minute walk away.
A bit about me: I work for an art gallery and enjoy all of the cultural activities London has to offer (I include cocktail and wine bars in 'cultural activities'). I'm active, I'm part of a running club but also like spending time at home watching a film or cooking. My room and bathroom is on the first floor. I am looking for a professional who wants to treat the flat like a home and make it a lovely place to be.
