A large, bright double bedroom in a great shared flat near the centre of Crouch End.

This is a great double room in a friendly flat share. The room comes furnished, if you want it that way (including a huge, fancy wardrobe)—or we can get the landlord to shift the furniture out, making way for your own! It’s quiet, bright and all around lovely.

The flat’s in easy walking distance of the centre of Crouch End, where there’s lots of nice pubs, coffee places, indie shops, etc. as well as a Tesco, Co-op, Waitrose, Waterstones, Superdrug … and it’s 10 mins by bus to either Archway or Finsbury Park (91 and 41 bus stops immediately outside the flat!). We’re next door to a convenient little general shop and, just next to the entrance of Parkland Walk, we’re surrounded by lots of parks and woods and green, as well!

The flat’s got its own entrance on the block; a big, comfy living room; a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine; private parking and bike sheds available; and there’s a nice little outdoor patch which we make pretty in the spring and summer, as well. (Obviously there’s a loo and (separate) bathroom with shower and all those good things, too.) There’s a well-looked after shared garden and the landlord (an agency) is great: hands off and quick to respond when anything needs fixing.

Ollie is a science lecturer/researcher. I’ve been here over 2 years (really love the place!). The flat has always has really pleasant, friendly, respectful (stress- and drama-free!) atmosphere, which we’re looking to continue with a great new flat mate. Everyone who’s lived here has really made it their home: if you’re a good egg, come and make it yours too!

Monthly total with bills (including cleaning, internet, council tax, TV licence and utilities) = approx. £770. Lease is for a year, BUT there's a break clause: you'd just have to give a month's notice before leaving--so short-termers definitely considered.
