2-4 nights per week - minium let of one month - flat in grand, Victorian building - spacious room - uncluttered but well-equipped - unlimited superfast broadband - tea-making facilities and minifridge - double bed - storage for your belongings - cleaning included - bedlinen and towels provided - comfortable, elegant home - shared bathroom, kitchen and dining area - resident, female owner with extensive flatsharing experience - shops, cafes, restaurants and cinemas nearby on Crouch End Broadway.
Originally from Ipswich, my work brought me to London in the late 1980s. I have lived in the flat for 24 years and am used to sharing my home with lodgers, having done so for 8 years.
The room is the main bedroom in my lovely two-bedroom flat located in a quiet and leafy area between Crouch End and Highgate. It is 152 square feet and its high ceiling gives the room a particularly spacious feel. The room is situated at the rear of the flat, overlooking a garden, and gets the sun in the morning. It is sufficiently large and well-equipped for you to be fairly self-contained in there. You are welcome to leave your belongings in the room when you are not in occupation. Cleaning is included and I provide regular changes of bedlinen and towels.
The room contains a "small double" bed (4 ft. wide), an armchair, a bedside cabinet, a desk and office chair, a large wardrobe and a big chest of drawers. There is a PC monitor on the desk in the room. The room also has tea-making facilities and a minifridge.
There is one good-sized bathroom located next-door to the room. It has a large bath with a hand-held shower.
Typically for a converted flat, the kitchen is on the small side but it is separate from the living room and is well-equipped with an electric oven, a gas hob, an airfryer, a toaster, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a fridge/freezer. You are welcome to store food in the cupboards and fridge, cook and use the dishwasher.
The living/dining room has a beautiful bay window, a large fireplace and a coal-effect fire. The dining area is available for you to use.
The flat is one of three converted from a huge Victorian house. It has well-proportioned rooms and, being on the first floor, gets lots of natural light. It is in very good decorative order and has unlimited superfast broadband. I keep the flat very clean, tidy and uncluttered but comfortable.
The flat will suit you if you value a peaceful and attractive living environment.
The flat is a few minutes walk from Crouch End Broadway. The Broadway has a large array of great cafes and restaurants and plenty of supermarkets and greengrocers - including a Waitrose and a Sainsbury's. There are two cinemas in Tottenham Lane, a 10-minute walk away.
Highgate tube station is a 15-minute walk away and Archway and Finsbury Park tube stations are served by frequent bus services nearby (the W5 and the W7, respectively).
The rent quoted (£625 p. c. m.) is for a let of four nights per week for an initial period of at least three months. On the same basis, the rent for three nights per week is £525.00 p. c. m. and the rent for two nights per week is £375.00 p. c. m..
I am willing to let the room for a shorter period than three months but the rent may vary from the above. Please enquire and I will give you a quote.
