Large Double Room + office space/work from home

We have a large double room in a shared house available. The room has a double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk and space for extra furniture. Some of this furniture can be put in storage if required. The room is available from mid-end January subject to the outgoing tenants moving out date. Its possible to move some belongings in beforehand.

The house is for 3 people in total. Currently there is a professional classical musician and a writer. We all spend some working in and away from home but enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere when here so are looking for a mature new housemate who enjoys a chat and a laugh but is considerate and peaceful. We all work from home at various times in the week.

There is a shared living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom (with a shower over a large bath) and separate toilet. There is also a large garage (not suitable for vehicles) used as office/utility room/storage space, floored loft with easy access with plenty of storage and a huge double length garden. The house has fibre broadband.

In the garden is a spacious, insulated office room with piano, desk and WIFI. Due to the shared workspaces available in the house the room is especially suited to a musician, writer, designer, creative or someone similar who needs the flexibility to work from home. The house is situated in a conservation area. The house is a non smoking house in all areas so this is a requirement for all tenants.

The street is very quiet with a great community of neighbours and very close to local parks. Its 3 mins walk from the centre of Crystal Palace with plenty of excellent restaurants, shops and sports or creative activities and also the big park with its wonderful views. Crystal Palace station is 10-15 minute walk and Gipsy Hill station is 10 minutes. There are also lots of buses with quick access to Norwood Junction, East Croydon, Brixton and other places.

There's plenty of other storage elsewhere in the house for additional belongings, including a space in the loft. The room is £750/mth plus household bills of around £130/month. The bills amount covers all the usual utilities as well as household cleaning items, loo rolls, shared equipment and the odd house take away treat!
