The room

Large bright room for quiet, mature (35+) professional woman in quiet but friendly house, sharing with myself and one other. Long-stayers preferred, to keep a nice settled household.

I am also open to lodging cats. My own passed away recently and I’m not planning to replace him. There’s a catflap, a garden and the house is on a quiet road.

House recently refurbished, all mod cons, share luxury bathroom with one other. Overnight visitors kept to a minimum, so no conflict over resources. The house is clean and homely; we take it in turns to clean the kitchen and bathroom each week. There's a sunny garden to spill out into in the summer.

We're in lovely, leafy Crystal Palace, five minutes' walk from station (Zone 3 to Victoria, London Bridge, Docklands, Islington; Zone 4 to Croydon) and large bus terminus. Parking no problem in our quiet street. Also five minutes' walk to supermarket, restaurants and the magnificent park.

I'm lucky enough to have a nice house in a good location, but what's important isn't maximising the rent, but sharing it with people who are a pleasure to live with. My lodger and I are mature, quiet and respectful, but a lot of chatting and laughing goes on in the kitchen before we retire to our own rooms. It's about space and privacy within a friendly atmosphere. We hope you'd like to join us!

Rent is all-inclusive, including GAS, ELECTRICITY, WATER, COUNCIL TAX, TV LICENCE and UNLIMITED HI-SPEED BROADBAND.
