Room in a cosy, friendly and welcoming house

Hi there,

I have a nice room available at the start of December. Room rent £595, £90 per month for bills are on top (gas, electric, council tax, tv licence, water, high speed board band).

Its fully furnished with a bed, wardrobe and storage. Its south facing so gets lots of lovely sunshine and has two large windows. The room has been fitted with a desk for home working and has just had a new mattress installed.

The house is great, large living room with a large garden which gets lots of use in Summer. The kitchen has everything you need and we have a washer and separate drier for your clothes which is handy in winter when you can’t dry clothes outside.

I have been here for years and have kept the place clean, tidy and recently painted most rooms to help get over the boredom of lockdown! This place is privately owned so we deal direct with the landlord, he always gets anything for the house sorted promptly.

That's enough of the boring stuff, a little about the people who live here. I work in the charity sector, keen on the following activities cooking, eating, growing veg/herb plants and riding my bike around north London. Lex and Maria are a young couple who both are equally keen as me for all things food related! Lex works in retail and Maria is a Teacher.
