Hello! I have a room available to sub-let in Dalston. I am flexible on the term between 2-6 months.
The flat is a duplex over 2 floors in a low-rise block. It’s quiet here, even though it's only a 5 minute walk from the heart of Dalston.
The communal area is mainly on the ground floor - kitchen with gas hobs, loads of cupboard room and a big fridge/freezer. We have a good stock of appliances and kitchen supplies for shared use. You're welcome to bring your own stuff too as there is plenty of space.
The living room is a great size and gets lots of light. There is a dining table, 3-seater sofa and TV set up in there. The living room goes out to a small balcony - south facing so it’s nice to sit out there when the sun appears :-)
Then there's a downstairs toilet, separate from the bath/shower room which is upstairs.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms and the bathroom. The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and cupboard space. Everything is in good condition.
The bedroom being let is a good size - coming with a double bed, a large wardrobe and additional cupboards on top, a small desk and a chair. If you have your own furniture to bring, I can move out some of the things in here.
The walls in the room are going to be re-painted white in the next few days before move in. There is a big storage cupboard outside the room which you can also use.
Location: Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction overground stations are both around 10 minutes’ walk (Kingsland less). Buses run from nearby and get to Angel / Clerkenwell / Kings Cross pretty quick. Dalston is great for its cafes, bars and restaurants which you can get to in 5-10 minutes.
The room is available for move in by next weekend - 15/16th February. The room is available for up to 6 months, but I am flexible on anything 2-6 months.
Rent is £950 per month. Bills are approx. £170 per month.
A bit about me - I am 32 years old, work as a lawyer in central London. I enjoy getting out to explore the cultural delights of London, and do various active pursuits such as tennis and swimming. I take it easy during the week, but often out over the weekends. I'd like to live with someone on a similar wavelength and be friends as well as flatmates!
If you’re interested, please let me know a bit about yourself and also let me know if you have any questions. I’m looking to arrange viewings over the next few days.
