The room is in the front of the apartment just as you come in, off the hallway. So it's almost like you have your own entrance and have all the privacy you need. See floor plan image for an overview. 

It's a very big space, especially for London standards. I will be creating an area with comfy chair and desk/table in the room so it's almost self contained. 

Under floor heating, large wardrobe, King size bed with medium firm foam mattress (recently steamed) and New bedding. 

Incredibly large kitchen with all the mod cons, including dishwasher.

The flat is on the main road close to shops and eateries, but tucked away in a little mews so it's very quiet. No traffic noise!

De Beauvoir is a very upmaket area, wedged between Hackney and Islington. It's got lovely wide treelined streets with beautiful Victorian houses.

There are several eateries, cafes and shops next door, Italian deli, organic fruit/Veg/juice bar, superb off licence with lots of organic and health produce. Also a Tesco 5 mins walk away. It's a very safe area with mostly couples and families.

3 Buses right outside the door, 141, 21 and 76. They will take you most directions so you can take various tubes towards any destination in London. Or Haggerston Station is closest with an 8 minute walk.
