Lodger for Deptford flat with garden, £600pm

Room for rent

Room available for a lodger from mid-August. Good sized furnished double room available to rent, in a 3 bedroom flat with large living room, large kitchen, separate w/c downstairs, big bathroom upstairs and garden. Only one other room is occupied (by me and my girlfriend - the landlords) and the flat has recently been fully refurbished, including a new kitchen, bathroom, boiler and electrics. We've spent most of the pandemic turning our garden into the best part of the house!

We both work from home, me Monday-Friday, and Pia 3 days a week, usually Monday, Thursday, Friday. As a result we would have a strong preference for someone who doesn't work from home on anything more than 1-2 days a week as the flat can feel a little crowded during the day if everyone is home.

Ideally you'll be ok with dogs as we have a lovely cockapoo, Lola. She's very friendly, loves cuddles and walks and doesn't shed fur! Pretty much the ideal dog!

The room comes with a 2 metre wide wardrobe, a small bedside table and relatively new double bed.

Bills are included and pia and I will also cover communal items (loo roll, washing up tablets, cleaning stuff etc etc) a cleaner visits the property every week so its usually very clean. The property itself is in Deptford with easy links to the City, London Bridge, Canary Wharf and Canada Water.

We are happy to agree a monthly rolling contract with no minimum tenancy if you'd value that flexibility.

I'm a 31 year old accountant, very clean and tidy, enjoy cooking, running, Netflix, all the usual stuff really!

Pia, my girlfriend is currently studying for her master's, loves a natter over a cup of tea, a netflix binge, getting outdoors and cooking delicious things!

This is very much NOT a party house but we might have some mates round for dinner (probably a BBQ) and board games every now and again.

We are looking for someone clean, tidy and quiet to share the flat with. We are looking for a lodger not a tenant so our ideal flatmate would be someone who is respectful of our space. We aren't clean freaks but we are the sort to wash up as we go and wipe down the surfaces when we are done cooking. We'd look for the same in return. As mentioned, we do have a regular cleaner who comes once a week so the home is usually very clean. If that sounds like a good fit, give me a shout!
