Hi there :-)

We are looking for a new housemate for a spacious, bright double bedroom in a shared 4-bedroom house (2 upstairs/2 downstairs). The room is available from 1st week of March. Normally we would prefer a long term contract, but we're happy to consider short term housemates in these difficult times.

The property:

There is one bathroom with a bathtub & shower upstairs and a bathroom with a shower downstairs. We have an extended modern kitchen. It has two fridges, an oven and gas hub as well as a dishwasher and various electrical appliances. There is two washer-dryers in the house so there's no queues for the laundry, ever! We also have a lovely, well kept garden that is great for barbecues in summer. It has a covered seating area and plenty of space to hang clothes to dry when the weather permits it.

The room is a clean large double bedroom, it's completely furnished and well looked after. It contains a armchair, a double bed, a wardrobe, a small desk and chair.

The people:

There is 4 of us, a couple and a single upstairs and a single downstairs, next to your potential future room, so there'll be 5 people in total and you'll only be sharing the fridge, washer-dryer and bathroom with one other person.

We usually tend to get together in each others rooms, the kitchen and the garden. All rooms are spacious and well equipped with a sofa and/or armchairs, so we just keep our doors open when we want company.

We're quite sociable people and like to share food and drinks and good conversation. However, we also all work full-time stressful jobs and know to respect each others' space. We're looking for someone like-minded, tidy and easy going.

Note, there is a completely adorable kitten in the house, his name is Toni, addicted to food and in constant need of love and attention.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

All household necessities are provided, like toilet paper, kitchen roll, soap, cleaning liquids and so on, except laundry products. There is a cleaner for the common areas (kitchen, halls and bathrooms) who comes every two weeks.
Whenever there is anything to fix, the landlady takes care of it right away.

The financials:

The room is £650 with all bills and amenities included.

The deposit is £500, which is completely refundable at the end of your stay provided you don't trash the place.
