Double Room in Herne Hill Leading onto Garden

We are looking for a flatmate on short notice because our current flatmates are moving out of London. We are friendly and sociable, and would like you to be too!

We both have professional jobs but also have strong intellectual interests - one of has a place at UCL to study an Anthropology PhD this September. We are culturally engaged, and between us enjoy growing vegetables, painting, writing, and various forms of making. But we also like a chat, and in normal circumstances would often be found in the pub.

The room is spacious, on the ground floor of a detached house. It's partly furnished (with a bed and a wardrobe), and leads onto a private patio, with access to a communal garden at the back of the house.

The flat is lovely, and has a large, light living room and kitchen area. The living room is furnished with our possessions, but there is space for any furniture that you might want to bring. And we never say no to a new plant to add to our collection!

We have good transport links into Central London, within walking distance of several rail stations, and are 30 seconds walk to a bus stop that runs throughout the night.

We have a reasonable and attentive landlord, and good relationships with flats in the same building, with whom we occasionally get-together for drinks or gardening.
