Hi,
We have a room to fill in a shared housing contract for a flat in Ealing Broadway. The house is fully furnished, the room is mostly furnished, and the vacating tenant has offered to sell any of his additional furniture that you may wish to retain. You would be expected to enter into a new shared contract between the 3 of us, following on from the expiry of the existing one with the current tenant.
It's a professional household, both of the existing tenants work Mon-Fri (1 programmer, 1 teacher), so during the week we like to keep things pretty quiet. We're both friendly, cooperative people, I'm very much into movies and computers, the other tenant into cooking and foreign languages (as well as most standard entertainment). In the 5 years we've lived here it's always been a very pleasant environment.
As far as the flat goes, it's very spacious, has most of the standard white goods (washer, fridge, freezer, microwave etc.). A parking permit is available. There's a shared lounge with TV and Blu-Ray player. Kitchen has plenty of storage, and is nice enough for cooking in. The flat is off the ground floor, and nice and secure. Bills are additional to the rent, and once council tax, broadband, average electric bill, and other misc bills are taken into account it comes to (on average) about £100 per month.
As for selling points - it's very close to ealing broadway station (literally 5 minutes walk from the door to the station), but just far enough to be removed from any noise. The area is very attractive, with a large green just across from the house. The room is a proper double, with plenty of space around the bed for a desk, and full height wall cupboards for storage.
Lines from Ealing Broadway are central and district, though national rail is also available into Paddington (very useful on tube strike days), or out in the direction of Oxford.
The flat is worth seeing, it isn't really done justice by the photos. It's very spacious, and very open. Both the current housemates (myself a programmer and the other a languages teacher) are really friendly and enjoy a very happy household (flathold, if that's a word :)).
Please contact me if you'd like any more information or to arrange a viewing.
