If you've ever wanted to live in a magnificent huge room in a splendid Victorian home then this is for you. This room, on the first floor, has a whopping 20 metres of floor space and has an en suite shower room and (nearly) exclusive use of a wc next door. The room is very quiet and looks out onto a large garden, where the only thing likely to disturb you are the foxes. You also have the use of an enormous kitchen which also overlooks the garden.
The house is on a quiet street with no through traffic, and you enter through doors with beautiful stained glass into a fine entrance hall and staircase.
You are only 6 or 7 minutes' walk from Finsbury Park station (zone 2), from which you can get swiftly anywhere in central London - pretty much anywhere in zone 1 is at most 30 minutes door to door.
Also nearby are Finsbury Park itself, the even more lovely Clissold Park, and the Stoke Newington reservoirs with a nature reserve and water sports. Blackstock Road nearby is full of shops, restaurants and bars.
All bills are included in the price.
You will share the house with one male postgraduate student and myself, the landlord, who am there half the week. Occasionally my family will visit.
