Forest Gate has a real community feel with lots of local shops and cafes, a Saturday market and community garden. There are primary and middle schools and nurseries also within a short walk.
The landlord and family (1 partner, 1 daughter) have the use of one bedroom in the house, set apart from the other bedrooms, which they use very occasionally during the year (amounting to 2 weeks or so spread across the whole year). We are friendly and easy going and won't get in your way, and for the rest of the time you have sole use of the house.
Broadband and water bills are included within the rent. All other bills will be paid by the tenants (with pro rata contributions from the landlord when the landlord is present). Council tax is Band E.
