Double room in quirky flat Forest Hill with garden

Hi, we're Sammy and Tidor a professional 30-something couple looking for a flatmate for our spareroom in lovely Forest Hill. Tidor is a musician and will be traveling a fair bit for work this year (roughly month home, month away) - he's been using our spareroom as a studio but due to a change in work situation he no longer needs it and we're converting it back into a bedroom - so please use your imagination with the pictures (room dimensions, 10ft/3m x 11ft/3.4m. I work in Public History and I'm currently studying for a Master's in Queer History, so I'll often be squirreled away reading. I have two little pugs, Turbo and Bella that will be there about 3 quarters of the time, so animal lovers also encouraged.

The room is available furnished or part-furnished and is a comfortable double with build in wardrobe. We'll share a huge light living space plus kitchen/diner and large family bathroom with separate shower cubicle and corner bath.

We're looking for someone to move in around 2 March - this can be flexible and short lets will be considered.

We'd like to share with someone who likes a glass of wine and a chinwag on a Friday night - we are probably more pub than club! And someone who is happy in their own company. Fellow postgrad students and/or nerds and queers very welcome!

This is a private let, we are in the lower ground floor flat of a beautiful Victorian property and our landlord and lady live in the flat upstairs. The front garden, with picnic table and grapevine covered trellis is ours to use and but is maintained by our landlords.

Bills are included.

Deposit is £600 - reference prefered and 3 months bank statements required.

We are 2 minutes’ walk from Sainsburys and less than 5 minutes’ walk from other local pubs and shops.

Forest Hill station is about a 3 minute walk - Overground line to Highbury & Islington or trains to London Bridge in 15 mins.

Horniman museum and gardens is 5 minutes walk.
