Room available for rent in a bright and airy 2 bed flat with a private landlord. The flat is on the top floor of a converted terrace on a quiet leafy street in Forest Hill, backing onto a nature reserve, with parking available outside.


£650pm exc. bills. Available from mid September/beginning of October (flexible).

I am subletting my room (with the permission of the landlord) for a flexible period of up to 12 months. The room will be rented with the security of a drawn up contract and deposit for the subletter.

The available room is a good size double and fully furnished, with two fitted cupboards and a new chest of drawers and clothing rail added since pictures were taken (see video for size of room). The flat is bright and newly decorated with an open plan kitchen/living area and new bathroom.

Really great location, a few minutes walk to the centre of Forest Hill and train station/overground. Sainsbury’s/local pub/coffee shop and bus routes all within minutes walk.

If a student, please be aware the other flatmate is not a student and council tax, although subsidised as a student, would need to be split and paid each month.

About us:

We both come from creative backgrounds and work in creative jobs.  

You will be living with Fred. Fred is 28 and works in education in a regular 9-5 job and has a pretty normal lifestyle with no late night partying or loud music listening. Fred’s very sociable so is quite used to catching up with flatmates about their day and as a flat before COVID we were often out together on weekends at galleries or talking about artsy stuff, to give you an idea of the vibe of the flat =)

The flat:

The flat is a social flat and a space where we're often chatting. It is an open communal space so it suits someone who's interactive and comfortable to socialise after a day at work, even briefly, as we all need our own space sometimes!

Although social, it is not a party flat and it is a relatively quiet space during the week, we'd like to keep that vibe going. We have a good relationship with our neighbors and the landlord whom we know quite well and want to maintain that.
