I'm a sole live-in landlord and have a lovely 3-storey mews house in Greenwich.

I'm 39, originally from Manchester, gay, pretty sociable, friendly, but I do like to relax when home and recharge. I recently moved back to London after 3 years in Berlin. Mostly work from home (9-5) in the third bedroom. I have the top floor bedroom also with my own bathroom.

I'm looking to rent out one room (to a single person) and it's available now. I'm looking for the best fit, not first come, so will be doing viewings next week.

The room has just been refurbed and is a large size approximately 5 x 3.5 meters including all new furniture (bed and mattress, decorations, bedside tables, built-in mirror wardrobes, and 50-inch tv (on its way). Plenty of room for a desk and chair should you own.

You have your own shower room opposite the bedroom.
The room is super light and also comes with two south-east facing Juliet balconies, perfect for summer :)

The house is located in a private gated community with about 20 other homes (which means it's really quiet and peaceful) and is accessible from Blackheath Hill or Sparta Street. The house is a nice peaceful quiet zone (apart from some squeaky floorboards and stairs:) ) - so no party animals, please.

The rest of the house is freshly painted and has a modern kitchen as well as various other works to give a fresh feel. The house has full double glazing throughout (gas central heating) and has 2 lovely French doors that lead onto a garden, bbq, and seated area at the back of the house (this has had a winter of neglect so needs some TLC).

The house has broadband, Sky TV (£20 extra a month if you would like in the bedroom), Netflix, Disney, and a nice-sized TV in the living room. I also like to keep the house clean and tidy and it's a non-smoking house, non-pet (as much as I like them sorry).

Bi-weekly cleaner that does the whole house (including your bedroom and bathroom should you like).

1 off-street car parking space is available at the cost of £100 PCM. Currently rented and one month's notice is needed.

Only 10 min walk from Greenwich mainline or DLR, Deptford Bridge DLR, and approx 10 min walk from Lewisham mainline and DLR station. The location is very accessible, with a number of buses including night ones close by too. You are also only a 10 min walk to Greenwich park perfect for summer!

Trains take 8 mins to London Bridge,18 mins to Charing Cross and 15 mins to Cannon Street.

DLR is around 12 mins to Canary Wharf and 22 mins to Bank. You can also walk to New Cross for the Overground or take a bus.

The deposit will be 1 month’s rent and I will need an employer’s reference with salary details. All bills are included (water, gas, electric, broadband, Sky, Netflix, and council tax).
