Hello! Thanks for reading our ad. We are currently seeking a new housemate (perfect for students as near University of Greenwich or professionals with easy commute into Bank, Farringdon and London Bridge).
Move in is March 1st! May be possible to arrange slightly earlier move in mid to end February.
Currently we are one male and three females. It's a nice quiet houseshare where everyone chips in with cleaning and bills and are respectful of each other's privacy. In general we are all quite busy but do have the occasional chat in passing., The landlord is a very nice guy who owns The North Pole pub next door.
The room is a spacious double room located on the 2nd floor of the house it comes with double bed, wardobe and desk. There is a bathroom/toilet facility on each floor apart from the basement kitchen. We have a shared living room space which is quite nice as you don't have to feel cooped up in your room all of the time. The kitchen is VERY large with oven, kettle, microwave, two fridges and general shared plates, cups, cutlery and some shared cooking utensils. There is also a garden/patio area in the back of the house.
The room features wardrobe, desk and double bed. It is facing the front of the house so loads of natural light.
Transportation:
- Greenwich station is less than 5 minute walk away for most train services going into central London or further out as well as the DLR which runs a direct 20 minute service into Bank Station. There are also 15 - 17 minute trains going into Blackfriars and London Bridge.
- Deptford Station is about a 10 minute walk away
- River ferry services to Cutty Sark only one stop away from Greenwich Station
Amenities:
There are loads of shops, bars and restaurants in this lively part of London. A Sainsbury's local is about a 10 - 12 walk down the road but there is also an ASDA, Cooperative and large Sainsburys located in nearby Deptford and Lewisham. Lewisham Shopping Centre is also about a 15-20 minute train ride.
There are also two Pure Gyms within 3 - 5 min distance.
Bills:
Bills inclusive of top up metres for gas and electric, water rates, council tax and internet come roughly to about 50 to 60 GBP per month although this can fluctuate based on usage levels and time of the year.
Please note we ask that you are clean, responsible, happy to chip in with shared bills and have a friendly demeanour.
Smoking is fine outdoors only.
