Please bear with me on responding, I will try to get back to as many of you as I can. I appreciate it’s an even more stressful time to find a place here than usual! Viewings will be in-person only, and offering more than £825 a month will NOT increase anyone’s chances of getting the room! Everything is evenly split :)

Hello All!

I’m looking for a new flatmate to rent a recently refurbed double room at Greenwich Creekside Apartments. The flat is a two-bed one-bathroom apartment share, located 10 minutes walk from the Cutty Sark and 7 minute train links to London Bridge from Deptford. The room currently has a desk in to work from home, and if you’d like to keep it there that’s fine with me. It can also be moved if you’d prefer a bit more space, or an extra clothing shelf can be moved back in. Some of the old photos at the end show how the room can be rearranged back to your liking. It’s very recently had a new carpet, blinds and chest of drawers put in, and I would also like to repaint to get rid of the dark blue wall at some point this summer. Most of the furnishings in the room are mine, but they are all fine to stay in the room.

It’s available from mid to late May, at £825 a month with bills included!! There's a bit of flexibility on the start date, as the room is vacant now, so I can also offer something pro-rata in May for those that need something urgently. The room and the flat are a fantastic price for where the market is at right now, so I want someone who will respect the place, and keep it to it’s usual tidy standard. I don’t own the flat myself, but take on all the admin responsibilities, so there’s little more I need from you other than to be a good flatmate I get on with!

The location of the flat means you are easily within walking distance of bars/restaurants in both Deptford and Greenwich. There are two cheap gyms close by, and lots of shops. The larger Greenwich Waitrose is literally a 5 minute walk. The flat is immediately opposite the fantastic Duke pub also. If I’m not home, I’m often found there…

There's communal parking too, but you would need to agree a space with the property management company at an additional cost to you.

A little about me… I work in finance based in Canary Wharf, at the moment splitting 3 days WFH and 2 days in the office. In the winter to early summer months I play football every Saturday and sometimes midweek. I also like to swim a couple of times a week at the local pool in Greenwich. I enjoy socialising after work, have a passion for recording music/ guitars, and outdoor activities, surfing in particular! I also love to cook, and like to throw the odd dinner party for friends. It would be nice to live with someone who has similar interests, but more than anything I’m looking for someone who is easy to live with, and would enjoy the odd social as and when.

Bonus points if you have an excellent taste in wine. No serial killers please.
