Open plan living room

We have a lovely double room with lots of character available in our warehouse flat in Hackney Wick.

We've got a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room and a huge outside terrace for BBQ's and hanging out in the sun. The room has two skylight windows and comes with a mattress, chest of drawers and shelves but the landlord will get in any extra furniture you need at no extra cost to you.

You will be joining the four of us currently in the house; a costume designer working in film, a primary school teacher and a couple working in theatre/comedy. We also have two very friendly and cute cats, Franklin and Theo. Needless to say we've been spending a lot of time together in the house this past year and so we're looking for someone who's up for joining in the crew - watching films together on the projector, cracking out some boardgames or sharing a big flat meal from time to time. Essentially we're looking for a someone who is up for making the place their home.

The warehouse is opposite Hackney Wick station where you can get the overground to Highbury and Islington or Stratford for central London and there are many bus routes within a 5 minute walk of the flat. There's also a new little Sainsbury's two minutes away which we're currently obsessed with it but we'll get over it soon.

In terms of the neighbourhood, Hackney Wick has its fair share of coffee shops, community spaces, restaurants, bars, performance venues and breweries as well as its own theatre (so lots of fun when everything reopens!). Best of all, we're only a few minutes walk from Victoria Park, the Olympic Park and the canals so there's plenty of nature nearby.

The room is available now and we’re hoping to fill the room relatively quickly.
