Lovely large single bedroom in a pretty and spacious cottage suitable for someone who is happy to spend time alone as live-in owners are often away.

If you’re quite an independent person, comfortable being with people or alone, then please read on.

We are looking for someone responsible, respectful and mature to share our home when we are in London and to be comfortable alone when we travel, which we do a lot.

This is a 4-bedroom cottage, you will be sharing with us when we are here - we are a couple in our 50s. The other two bedrooms are used as our office space. So there will be a maximum of three people in the house.

The bedroom available is lovely as you can see in the photos. The house has lots of room for you to spread out. There is both a living room (see photo with breakfast table) and a lounge/dining room with a large comfy leather sofa and armchair (see photos).

The cottage is in Hampstead Garden Suburb, which is a very pretty area and the cottage is in a quiet location in a private square.

Nearest underground Golders Green - zone 3.

The house has everything one needs included because it is a home and it has all the lovely home comforts. It is in a very convenient location for easy access into central London as well as close to the M1, A406 and easy to get to the M4 and M11.

We are a professional couple, in our 50s.
We travel regularly between London and Europe.

We respect one's need for privacy and we are happy to converse and interact as and when.

The home is quiet, clean and tidy.

We are looking for a like-minded person to share our home space.

The bedroom is bright and sunny, very quiet and with a pretty view.

In the bedroom there is a new 4-foot double bed. There are built-in cupboards with lots of shelves and a free-standing wardrobe with hanging space. There is desk, chair and a basin. The room is also very warm - the heating is on throughout the winter months.

There is a bathroom with a toilet, bath, bidet and shower.

There is also a guest toilet with basin downstairs.

In the lounge there is a large, comfortable Natuzzi leather sofa and matching armchair. A TV with smart features. And a large dining table for six.

Separately, there is a living room with a breakfast table (as seen in the photo).

The kitchen is spacious, fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer + another freezer.

Cleaning is shared between us.

At all times we each clean up after ourselves in the kitchen and bathrooms.

There is a lovely large south-east facing garden, with lots of tables and chairs - a pleasure from spring through to autumn. Wifi reaches outside and there's plenty of space to work outside or simply enjoy the sun.

The house is in a private square and there is free parking exclusively for residents of the square - if you have a car you will be able to park in the square for free.

The house is alarmed and has some smart technology including heating and some of the lighting.

The house is very close to the high street in Temple Fortune where there is an M&S food store, Waitrose, Boots, WH Smith, health food store and lots of coffee shops.

Transport to and from central London is fast and convenient. There are three buses to Golders Green underground station - also to North Finchley, Victoria, Brent Cross and East Finchley.

Golders Green is on the northern line and is a 15-minute walk from the house.
