Monday - Friday only

This is a good-sized double room in a welcoming and much-loved home. Seeking a professional (male or female) working away from home and needing a base in West London Monday to Friday.

Located in Hanwell (W7), the house is Victorian, semi-detached, with two reception rooms (one available for use), new shared bathroom, and lovely private garden. Included in the rent is use of the kitchen, broadband, all bills (except phone), and reasonable use of the washing machine. Bedding and towels will also be provided, unless you prefer to bring your own.

This is a friendly suburban part of London, with a strong sense of community, plenty of shops (for food), and a surprisingly large number of pubs, cafes and small restaurants/take-aways within a couple of minutes’ walk.

It’s a one minute walk to the E8 and 195 bus stops, and several minutes’ walk to bus services on the Uxbridge Road (10 minutes by bus to Ealing Broadway for the Central line or mainline trains). The nearest stations are Boston Manor (Piccadilly Line) (approx. 10/15 minutes’ walk or short bus ride) or Hanwell rail station (trains to Paddington) (approx. 7 minutes’ walk). Free street parking is available.

You would be sharing with me (home-owner) – I’m friendly and welcoming, but also hard-working and have a fairly busy social life so need someone who respects my home and busy life, as I would respect your property and privacy. My grown-up son and daughter are at home from time to time.

The rent is £100 per week, Monday – Friday only.
