Double room in home from home - £600 bills inc

Sadly after four amazing years here I'm moving back to Ireland and so there is a space in the best house share I've ever been in up for grabs!

Here's a bit more info:

The House

While technically a flat, the house is over 3 floors with sole access to a great little garden with covered decking. Plus the whole back wall opens up which is useful both for gatherings when times are good or social distanced visits when times are Covidy. Excellent for cat spotting also.

Kitchen has a big double range stove and loads of room both to cook and entertain, big giant telly too, plenty of plants, really homey.

The Room

Fairly self explanatory from the pics, it's really well insulated so cosy in the winter but cool in the summer and loads of storage space with an extra cubby as well as built in wardrobes and it's just been freshly painted. I don’t have a desk in there as I work from the kitchen (the others do in their rooms) but you could fit one if you prefer.

The People/environment

This is a pretty sociable house and everyone gets on really well. It wouldn't really be suited to someone who's going to hide every night eating dinner in bed. We tend to get together most evenings (especially during lockdown) for a drink/laugh/rant/watch something easy, There is a Gousto house order if you want in but it's not obligatory, I don't. People are tidy and respectful, we don't go in for rotas or kitties or the likes and everything runs pretty smoothly just being grown up about things. That and bulk buying toilet paper :)

The other housemates are ace, it's a guy and two women so kind of preferring another guy but not that fussed. They're professionals mostly wfh and really funny, warm, super smart, kind and supportive. It's friendly but no one will judge if you want alone time either. Honestly these are the greatest people I've ever lived with, and if it wasn't for moving home, I would basically never leave!

The Area

I've lived in Harringay for about 9/10 years on and off and it's easily my favourite place in London. Close to Wood Green for shopping centre/cinemas, Finsbury Park is a 10 min walk from the house. So many amazing Turkish restaurants and shops, lots of pubs/bars as well as a huge Sainsburys, Homebase etc. less than 10 min walk.

In terms of transport, we're just about 5 mins walk from Haringey National Rail which gets you to Finsbury Park in 2 mins, Highbury &Islington in 5, Old Street in 10, Moorgate 15.. Also 10 mins from Harringay Green Lanes Overground and along main bus routes 29, 141 and 341 (10 mins bus to Stoke Newington!). Manor House and Turnpike Lane tube stations are both either 15 min walk or 5 on the bus. Plenty of nice walks around too along the New River or the Capital Ring Walk.

The Details

Room: £600 pcm including all bills (we do also have a cleaner who comes twice a month at £23pcm each)
Deposit: £600

The room will officially be free from 6th November although there'll probably been some flexibility on that as I'll likely leave earlier that week.

Landlord just requires ID and proof that your'e allowed live in the UK. We have a direct relationship with him and he's pretty sound.

If there's anything else you need to know after that essay please do let me know! We'll be organising viewings from 1st October (Covid safe of course) so should be able to accommodate most.
