Large double w/ en suite in Crouch End ✌️

After four fantastic years, I am moving out of my beloved room in Crouch End, for no reason other than an impending move to Barcelona 🤩 🇪🇸 !

THE HOUSE/ROOM:

The house is an old Victorian terrace, we're on the first and second floor with a lovely couple living on the ground floor.

Inside, there's a shared kitchen/living room with a very well equipped kitchen (we are all big foodies) sofa, table and lots of board games.

The room is fully furnished, I also have a desk and chair which belong to me - if wanted by the new flatmate, I can sell for a big discount, if not I will put them on FB marketplace before I leave.

BIG plus is the en suite with shower✌️ 🙌

Other than that, there are some nice trees outside the window, birds tweet in the morning, & amazing natural light ☀️

THE AREA:

Crouch End is either a 15-20 min walk or 10 min bus from Finsbury Park station (Victoria Line), 10 minutes from Crouch Hill (Overground), or 10 mins from Hornsey (Rail overground).

It's a really lovely area with lots of small independent shops and cafes, really doesn't feel like London at all, but you can get to central in under 30 mins 🙌

There's also a lot of lovely pubs and bars, including The Queens, Small Beer, Haringey Arms, Goods Office, White Lion, Faltering Fullback, Little Mercies, etc.

There are lots of parks and open spaces too, Priory Park is around a 6-8 min walk, Alexandra Palace Park 15 mins, Finsbury Park 15 and Clissold 30 mins.

If you're vegan/veggie, there's a real cult scene around here too, lots of places are opening including Ready Burger (Vegan McDonalds) Allora Hall (Vegan-friendly co-working space), Miranda Cafe (healthy vegan/veggie food).

Supermarkets nearby include BIG SAINSBURYS, Waitrose, big Tesco, M&S, Gails, a posh Londis with lots of yum vegan bits, health food shops, everything you could want 😉

THE FLATMATES:

We are 2 guys and 2 gals, Bruce, Jeremy, Michelle and Sophie (me).

We're very sociable and close (like family), having lived together throughout the pandemic. We often cook and eat together and go to the pub. I wouldn't say we're a party house, we're all very clean and respect each other's space.

We all tend to follow a plant-based diet so if you're into that, big plus!

OTHER BORING STUFF:

Bills including gas, water, electricity, internet, and tax come to around £110 per month.

The landlord is a dream, easy going and no hassle when we have an issue.
