Small double in a beautiful flat in Herne Hill

A cosy, bright room in our beautiful 3-bedroom maisonette in Herne Hill. A 10 minute walk to Herne Hill station (8 minutes to Victoria, 12 minutes to Blackfriars), 10 minute bus ride to Brixton (On a good day) and two minutes from the south side of Brockwell Park.

The maisonette is on the upper two floors of the house. On the lower floor is a large living room, a kitchen diner, bathroom and separate toilet. We also have a little balcony off the living room which can fit two people at a squeeze.

There are four professionals currently living in the house (One married couple). You’ll be replacing me (Hannah) as I am sadly set to leave London. The others work in medicine, theatre and in a fintech. We have lived together for the last year and a half and knew each other previously, so are a very tight-knit group. We’re all pretty busy during the week and often at weekends, when we are in the house we all enjoy a catch up and chilling together.

The house was unfurnished when we took up the tenancy and all of the furniture belongs to us. The room is also un-furnished but will come with a wardrobe.

The room is on the upper floor and at the back of the house, so nice and quiet bar the odd fox. It is a small double with space for a wardrobe and chest of drawers. We also have shared loft space for storage.

Our current tenancy agreement will come to an end on March 22nd and the new agreement will run from the 23rd. The new tenancy will be a year long with a six-month break. The flat is managed by agent Keyhold who are very responsive.

The following fees will be payable:

£156 – Admin fee which I will share
£108 – Referencing fee – You’ll need to do this direct with the Landlord to pass their checks
£851.67 – Share of deposit

The rent is £575 per month and we transfer £80-100 per month for bills to our house Monzo account.

Herne Hill is a beautiful part of London to live in. Herne Hill has lots of bars, restaurants, pubs etc and a Sunday farmer's market every weekend. We're also 20 minute walk from Brixton or 15 minutes on the bus from Peckham if you fancy a night out. Great transport links to all of London via bus as well.
