Cheap and cosy room in colourful flat (Herne Hill)

Hi!

I have a small double room available in my flat located in Zone 2 right in between Denmark Hill, Herne Hill, and Loughborough Junction, and 15mins walk from Brixton. You'll be living with me and my 6mo old kitten Moki. I've been living in the flat for one year, and now looking to rent the guest room for short term. Flexible about timings could be 1 to 5months.

Your room:

The room is small but cosy, with a comfortable double sofa bed (from futon company) topped with a comfy mattress topper, a large window giving onto the garden and a set of new shelves for storage. There's not a lot of space but it's cosy and the flat is nice. I'm flexible with short term or flexible accommodation (i. e Mon-Fri lets).

The flat:

Large and comfortable, fully furnished and colourfully decorated with stuff from my travels and plants. It has a large living room with high ceilings and hard wood floors. A big separate kitchen with dining room table. A bathroom with bathtub and toilet, and a small patio outdoor. The flat has been refurbished just before I moved in last October, new paint, brand new carpets and double glazing.

The area:

My street is very safe, quiet and residential, yet it's walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shops, Brixton Market, Herne hill and Camberwell are very close. Ruskin park entrance is in front of my door, it's a large green park. You'll have fast access to the city, with Brixton on the Victoria line only 15mins walk away or 5 stops by bus. You also have Loughborough Junction, Herne Hill, and Denmark Hill stations all within walking distance and offering regular trains to Victoria, Farringdon, King's Cross, Blackfriars and Elephant & Castle. When I had to go into the office pre-covid times in Oxford Circus, it used to take me 35mins door to door to get there!

About me:

I'm a 30yo French designer. I've been in London 12 years. I like to go out as much as I like to stay home, I have regular activities during the week including dance classes, I love cinema, music, cooking, wine and coffee. At the moment I work from home. I'm a smoker but smoke only outside in the patio. I love to share a drink or dinner, play board games, but also enjoy quiet nights in. Aside from inviting friends in for a chilled apero, I don't bring the party home. I try to have an environmentally-friendly lifestyle, I recycle and compost, seek better brands, and try to make better choices whenever I shop.

About you:

I'm looking for someone considerate who will care for the flat and my things, who won't party here and who'll be respectful to neighbours. Someone who likes cats. Whatever your current situation, if you're looking for short term and you like the look of my flat, let's discuss, I'm happy to figure out an arrangement that will suit both of us.

Budget:

£570 per month, all bills included
Deposit to be discussed based on how long you'll stay but won't be more than a month rent.
